Leighton A. Nugent (Director of Operations):
MA, BA (Hons) PGCE
Leighton came from a Sociology, Key Skills, ESOL and Literacy specialist teaching & lecturing background. His skills include the ability to embody skills and issues within a creative programme. He helps to design bespoke workshop activities, meeting a wide range of objectives for schools, head teachers and youth organisations. As well as teaching, his broad ranging previous experience includes working in the community (with people with learning disabilities) and heading a regional graduate recruitment team.
Ashleigh Nugent (Creative Director)
Ashleigh worked for seven years as a workshop practitioner and leader before setting up Nugent-Education with Leighton. He is also a writer and Rapper, spending many years with the popular local Hip-Hop band, ?The Shakti?, and more recently ?RandomEra? (with Philly Whizz) who released their Album and EP, ?The Searching Years? in May 2007. His skills lie in ensuring the smooth running and creative integrity of Nugent-Education creative arts programmes. His role also includes quality control, practitioner recruitment, support and professional training and development.
